Functionning
NTP pneumatic piston vibrators create linear vibration by a free oscillating piston.
Three different versions have to considered:
- In the A version, the piston knocks directly to the surface where the vibrator is fixed.
- The piston, in the standar version B, works against an air cushion (noise reduced).
- In the version (B+C) the piston is knocking againsta an elasomer inster and works like a rubber hammer.
The pneumatic piston vibrators NTP 32 and NTP 48 are also used with a bottom plate.
The frequency can be adjusted by varying the pressure of the air supply. The amplitude varies by throttling the exhaust.
A 3/2-way operating valve is required in order to guarantee inmediate starting.
The air has to be filtered. Lubrication-free operation is possible, except when working with freeze-dried air).
The permitted temperature range is 5 șC to 80 șC.
Range of application
NTP piston vibrators are used for knocking off material adhering to container walls (e.g. tunnels, silos, hoppers.).
