Application

The vacuum fixing devices, VAC serie are made for fast attachment on smooth or more or less rough and bended surfaces to empty bins and drums, clean pipes.

They are used if there is no other method of fixing available or the vibrators have to be moved often.

The surfaces to be vibrated need to have a minimum diameter, following the types:

· VAC 8:110 mm · VAC 11:110 mm · VAC 15:650 mm · VAC 30:1500 mm
· VAC 10:110 mm · VAC 12:350 mm · VAC 20:850 mm · VAC 40:1500 mm

Function

All VAC clamps are available in two different versions to:

HG N: Normal hose set.
HG S: Economy hose set.

The necessary vacuum is created by a pneumatically operated device which is part of the mounting plate.

The economy hose set creates an adjustable vacuum just enough to hold the unit without vibration. lf the vibrator is started, first the maximum vacuum will be generated before the vibrator starts. The economy set is recommended if the VAC clamp is to remain on the bin for a longer time.

Without vibration the air consumption with HG S version to hold the clamp in position will be less than 30% than the one obtained with the HG N version, only.

Operation

The VAC with the vibrator is pressed with one hand against the surface of the unit to vibrate, with the other hand a switch on the VAC clamp is turned. The clamp will immediately be fixed. Then the vibrator is operated by a valve which is integrated in the supply hose. The economy set will care for full vacuum before the vibrator starts. After closing the valve for the vibrator the VAC clamp will remain in position until the switch on the clamp is turned back.

Warning

The unit has to be fixed with a safety steel line (included) to a right point to prevend it from falling down in case of drop of line pressure.
