Two REX electric vibrators, normally turning at 1500 r.min-1, drive the EV vibrating draining racks, to obtain the separation of the solid materials from the liquid ones.
The backside and the bottom of the structure are equipped with a special rack, made of trapezoidal profiles, resistant to the oxidation.
The bottom is made with a 3º ascendant angle to the discharge, avoiding that the water goes out by the front part.
The liquid part, in the drain rack inlet, is normally up to 60% of the mixture. Most of it goes quickly through the back racks. Besides of this, the liquid leaks under the gravity effect, inside the mixture, going out through the bottom racks. The solid parts, smaller than the rack light are lost with the water, but they can be eventually retrieved by a settling tank and poured out again to the drain rack.
Depending on the product to be handled, at the end of the drain operation, a 10 to 15% moisture residual degree can be obtained, which is the limit through mechanical means
The light of the racks is chosen in accordance with the material granulometric composition.
